At Octonano, our projects often leave a lasting mark; not just on the brands we serve, but on the cultural landscape itself. Our collaboration with TradeStation was certainly one of those moments.
A few years back, TradeStation, a Miami-based online broker-dealer and fintech platform built for sophisticated traders and institutions, approached us with a bold challenge: craft a brand activation that would cut through the noise and reposition them as a leader in the evolving world of blockchain and decentralized finance.
Known for its powerful suite of trading technology, advanced analytics, and education resources, TradeStation empowers serious traders with the tools they need to test, refine, and execute strategy at a professional level. But the brand knew they needed a strong identity rooted in power, that reflected where finance was headed.
Together with our creative partners at SMALL Agency, we set out to deliver a clear message: traditional finance may always belong to Wall Street, but the future of finance lives in Miami.
The result was the Miami Bull: a reimagined, future-forward version of Wall Street’s Charging Bull. Rooted both in tradition and transformation, the Miami Bull became a bold emblem of decentralized innovation and the evolution of financial power.
Unveiled in downtown Miami by Mayor Francis X. Suarez, the sculpture, created by renowned artist Furio Tedeschi and built by Onyx Forge Studio, sparked a cultural conversation and positioned TradeStation at the center of the movement.
