Last week, we were honored to help put on one of our favorite brand activations as of late – with a comedy show hosted in our very own client Piombo’s new store in SoHo, NYC. Hosted by Grace Walsh (@grcwlsh) and organized by New York mainstay comedy duo David Levine and Ethan Mansoor of Underground Overground Comedy (@comedy.uo), the evening featured non-stop laughter, Goldie’s nonalcoholic seltzers, and some post-show shopping.
We were also thrilled to see so many young Gen-Z people in the audience, as testament to comedy’s capacity for mass appeal and ability to unite audiences of all ages. Levine and Mansoor have by now put on shows in all kinds of unconventional locations (including laundromats, candy shops, and Katz’s Delicatessen), and we’re very excited to have been part of such an “outside the box” production with our dear client Piombo.
Moments like this are some of the most rewarding parts of what we do. Seeing a community come together for a few hours just to laugh, witnessing the immense talent NYC has to offer, connecting with local partners in the neighborhood, and seeing a special event come to life are always the best aspects of the job.
