Reflecting on Art Month



As Art Month comes to an end, we're thinking about our key takeaways from our many visits to galleries around the city that we will bring to our projects and clients.


Here's what we learned:

  1. One of the most important aspects of branding is a visual identity, since this is the first impression your community will form of your brand before anything else. Take your time considering factors like the color palette, fonts, and mood of your assets to ensure they communicate the essence of your brand.

  2. Don't count out decades-old aesthetics! Often, there is much from the past that can make its way into your current branded design. Pay attention to various artistic movements and trends in pop culture, fashion, and media that can be used in your brand's communications.

  3. Art doesn't have to be just painting or drawing – many of these exhibits use different types of sensory stimuli to create an immersive experience (like light, sound, and video). After visiting these exciting exhibits, we've got some new ideas for our next brand activation...
